The Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Art (SAQA ID 97970, NQF Level 7) prepares students to develop a distinctive artistic practice grounded in theory, critical thinking and contemporary discourse. Through studio-based learning and curatorial exploration, students engage with Africa’s evolving creative landscape.

This programme builds on art’s traditional role in questioning, engaging, and making sense of the world’s complexities. Through expert mentorship and guidance, students will develop their unique artistic philosophy and practice, integrating contemporary and established techniques and theory. This course is ideal for individuals who see the world from a distinct perspective, are unafraid to ask questions, and are willing to challenge conventional boundaries.

The new installation has been installed for the period of the exhibition at Cape Town Creative Academy’s Silo 2 gallery and studio space.
